The Gibb River Road is an unrelenting, 660km track in the remote Kimberley region of Western Australia. Accessible only by 4WD, scorching hot temperatures, and some of the country's most dangerous wildlife, it's a stretch that comes with many complicated challenges and risks. In May 2023, two friends from Margaret River - one a stage 4 melanoma survivor - attempted to run the notorious road to raise funds for cancer research.
